If you have an account in the U.S. 403(b) Retirement Plan, you are eligible to receive your vested account balance upon retirement, termination of employment, or total and permanent disability. You have the option of leaving your savings in the Plan until you reach the age of 70½, when regulations mandate the beginning of required minimum distributions.
